Role and Responsibilities

· Overseeing day to day operations for multi-specialty medical offices.

· Managing staffing calendars and schedules.

· Working with staff to manage patient flow and patient schedule.

· Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching staff to provide outstanding quality patient service pursuant to medical division policies, procedures, and objectives.

· Ensuring a clean and safe medical environment for staff and patients.

· Creating a positive work environment and harmony with colleagues and other Excelsior divisions.

· Identify, notify, and implement approved recommendations for improvements in operations with an emphasis on increasing patient satisfaction and retention.

· Be ready to respond to emergency or urgent situations that may arise.

· Confirming the patient data entered into EMR by staff is accurate and up to date.

· Collaborating with the billing team to rectify billing concerns.

· Knowledgeable in insurance verification, eligibility checks on all patients and obtaining pre-authorization when needed.

· Exercises problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patients of various backgrounds

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· 2+ years of office management for medical specialty offices

· Basic computer skills

· Experienced in handling multiple projects at a time

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Office manager: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Chinese (Preferred)
