This is a Monday - Friday position with no nights and no weekends. Hours vary slightly, but are generally 7am - 3pm.

Job Description:

• Prepare morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack daily
• Maintain proper and thorough sanitation of your kitchen
• Assist with on-hand inventory and supply ordering
• Plan and prepare meals that meet proper nutritional requirements
• Ensure all food is prepared, served, stored and handled properly
• Assist in keeping the main office building clean and tidy
• Prepare and teach a cooking activity to preschool students once a week
• Assist in setting up a safe and age-appropriate learning environment
• Actively participate and engage children in and out of the classroom
• Redirect calmly in a positive manner
• Establish and maintain a positive attitude and relationship with parents, staff and children
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with other staff members
• Keep information about children, families and staff confidential
• Be reliable and punctual in attendance

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• High School diploma/GED or College diploma
• AZDPS Fingerprint Level One Clearance Card
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Maricopa County Food Manager’s certificate
• Documentation of a negative TB test (dated within the last 12 months)
