Join our growing customer service & sales team at True North Martial Arts! We have an amazing community of students and families who love our martial arts, after-school and summer camp programs! Our customer service and sales team love working with all of them! If you love working with school aged kids and their families AND you’re a motivated customer service & sales expert, we want to meet you!

● This is a part-time, hourly position, with scheduled hours: Available shifts from Mondays through Thursdays from 4pm-9pm and Fridays 4pm-7pm. Four to five Saturday morning and afternoon special events throughout the year are also required.

The ideal candidate is an outgoing people-person who loves interacting with school-aged kids as well as adults in an active, upbeat setting. This candidate will be primarily driven to work here by our Purpose and Values.

Build our on-site, internal community at the academy during every shift by:

● Greeting and connecting with families, students and members of the community when they are at the academy or at one of our events
● Answering incoming phone calls and email inquiries
● Making outbound phone calls to families who have expressed interest in our programs
● Scheduling orientations and other appointments for students
● Conducting orientations for new students and their families on Friday evenings
● Maintaining our Brand-Standard level of cleanliness in the academy by performing routine cleaning and organizing duties
● Doing point-of-sale transactions for merchandise, events and tuition
● Closing sales face-to-face and hitting weekly sales goals
● Memorizing phone and other scripting support tools
● Utilizing Conscious Communication© in all interactions
● Being an Ambassador of our Purpose and Values to families, members of the community, fellow team members and students
● Supporting Operations Manager in coordinating daily tasks, follow-up and internal outreach to families
● Being proficient with learning new software and navigating our student database
● Adhering to All-Position Protocols and Definitions of Excellence for this position

Satisfactory preliminary and ongoing background checks as well as ongoing performance evaluations are mandatory for this position.
