Sleep Inn & Suites O'Fallon Mo is looking for multiple housekeepers to join our strong team. We are located at 1147 Technology Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Working weekends and holidays are a must.

• ** Must be reliable and on time to work every day. We want upbeat and positive team members. People that are willing to work.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop, and vacuum floors
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery as needed
• Maintain health and sanitary requirements
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobby, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Subject to move chairs to vacuum under them for debris.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment ( lamps, window sills, picture frames, TVs, etc.). And wiping handprints off mirrors and windows.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings when it is needed.
• Replace light bulbs when needed.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
• Sort sheets and towels, load washing machines, and dryer.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedure
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision
