Full-Time, 8 am - 5 pm.

A Housekeeper at Singh Apartments is a self-motivated, customer service-oriented professional that is vital to the success of our community. Reporting to Management personnel, housekeepers are responsible for cleanliness in all aspects of the community. By maintaining a sanitary environment in common areas for the safety of our residents, our housekeepers provide a pleasant experience for all visitors to the community. Housekeepers take pride in providing a beautiful, clean, and safe community for residents and guests.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum hallways and stairwells
  • Powder puffing units for move-ins & ensuring move in gifts are in place for move in day.
  • Breaking down and disposing of boxes left in corridors by residents at move in and throughout their tenancy.
  • Package to delivery to resident apartments when requested.
  • Survey and clean high touch areas regularly, elevators, sanitizing rooms, spa, and surfaces. Take out trash.
  • Build a rapport with residents, assist with directions, have knowledge of building amenities
  • Submit work orders for building maintenance as items arise.
  • Assist with exterior cleanliness, curb appeal by picking up trash, as needed. (Primarily a maintenance item)
  • Adhere to safety regulations regarding safe chemical handling, as well as other cleaning procedures to prevent

cross-contamination

  • Maintain accurate record small equipment provided for resident use. Return carts & other equipment to designated

areas.

  • Assist with all other duties as assigned by Management. We expect our associates to have regular attendance; defined as

being on time and present to all scheduled shifts, for the entire shift.Our associates need to value the importance of timeliness, punctuality, and dependability, and how the lack of these critical elements affects others in the workplace and the overall community operations. We expect all associates to be willing to lend a helping hand to co-workers, direct reports, and supervisors, whether it is one of their typical job responsibilities or not. This includes welcoming new associates and residents into the community, and making them feel at home. Associates need to keep the best interests of the residents and other associates in mind, and be an active participant in accomplishing team, community, and company
goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous professional cleaning experience.
  • Detail oriented, dependable, and organized.
  • Independent worker with integrity and good judgement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and reach.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Performing repetitive movements throughout the day.
