Hostler Position
Wanship Transportation has been a refrigerated transportation leader in the Western States for over 30 years. Our specialty is moving less than truckload (LTL) freight. Wanship has expanded its reach to include a refrigerated warehouse in South Salt Lake. EPACC South-West cold storage boasts 30,000 square feet of temperature-controlled storage. In addition, the facility is responsible for all cross-docking of Wanship’s LTL freight.
We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working individual to work with our refrigerated warehouse team. The successful candidate will operate a hostler moving trailers in and out of our dock area.
Responsibilities:
Safely move 24-53 ft trailers to and from the dock using a hostler
Communicate with warehouse and customers
Perform yard checks
Fuel Reefers
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL required
1 year Hostler or Class A driving
Excellent backing skills
Forklift experience or certified (Preferred)
Schedule: 2 shifts available
Monday- Friday
Midnight to 830am
Sun- Tues
12pm to 12am

Salary: $24- $26 DOE
