We are currently seeking a Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with Top Secret Clearance to join our team in Quantico, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and implementing solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information. Provides technical evaluations of customer systems and assists with making security improvements. Conducts security product evaluations, and recommends products, technologies and upgrades to improve the customers security posture. Conducts testing and audit log reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures. Provides technical support in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation, and security implementation.

This role is required to work onsite at the FBI Lab in Quantico, VA (2 days a week telework is currently allowed).

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance required
• Must be United States citizen
• Bachelor's Degree in IT field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, to include:
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in the Information Security (Cybersecurity or Information Assurance) field
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing, maintaining and managing Security Authorizations and Assessments packages
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint (User)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with the following:
  • DISA Security Technical Information Guides
  • DoD A&A Process (Risk Management Framework)
  • NIST SP 800-53
  • Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with maintaining an ATO for a specific system
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IT security vulnerability and penetration testing
• Minimum 3 years of experience with maintaining Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
• Must have one of the following active security related certifications:
  • CASP CE
  • CISSP (or Associate)
  • CSSLP
  • CCNA-Security
  • GICSP, GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • SSCP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Ethical Hacker
• Knowledge of the FBI Security policies and procedures
