At Chick-fil-A, the Kitchen Director is a part of the high performance leadership team. The Kitchen Director is responsible for overseeing the kitchen team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. The Kitchen Director is responsible for ensuring all kitchen policies and procedures are being met at all times. This position requires the Kitchen Director to know all Chick-fil-A standards and ensure recipes are being followed accurately. The Kitchen Director should have a vast knowledge of food safety and insure all food safety standards are being met. The Kitchen Director upholds our Chick-fil-A standards to serve high quality food with high quality service at all times.

Responsibilities include:

• Insures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
• Insures that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
• Insures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
• Insures that workstations are clean at all times.
• Insures all food safety procedures are being utilized and followed.
• Oversees kitchen leadership team.
• Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout shift.
• Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
• Provides feedback on employee performance and policy/procedure violations.
• Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
