Full Time Legal Administrative Assistant with prior legal experience 37.5 hours per week to provide support to two attorneys - Duties include:

• Provide secretarial and administrative support, including phone contact, computer related needs (e.g. Word and Excel documents), faxing, filing, proofreading and drafting of legal documents.
• Transcription of legal documents and correspondence using a Dictaphone.
• Maintaining files including litigation files
• Maintain and/or creat files or records keeping systems. Sorts, labels, files and retrieves documents of other materials
• Book travel (minimal)
• Maintain calendar schedules and appointments

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent writing skills - grammar, spelling and punctuation
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly
• Familiarity with computer applications, Internet, MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent typing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Collierville, TN 38017: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Legal Office: 4 years (Required)
