We are seeking full or part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician at Truckee Meadows Veterinary Hospital, Reno – Nevada

Who you are:
Are you a reliable, kind individual, independently motivated self-starter, who likes to learn and teach others? If you are a LVT who is looking to explore a career at a responsibly growing practice, we want to meet you! No weekends or late nights! Four 10 hour shifts per week. Not interested in the full time grind that's ok. We offer flexible part time schedules.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Veterinary Technician License
- 1+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
- Assisting Doctor with patients in all aspects of care
- Prepping patients for surgery/treatments
- Monitor patients during surgery/treatments
- Filling Prescriptions
- Assisting with laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
- Providing compassionate care to patients and pets being boarded
Desired Experience:
- General Practice Knowledge
- Prescription Knowledge
- Anesthetic Monitoring, anesthesia induction experience
- Venipuncture
- Catheter Placement
- Calculate Dosages & Dilutions
- Dental prophylaxis and dental x-rays
- Running in house diagnostics

Dr. Kuester has worked at SAGE Veterinary Centers as Urgent Care and Emergency Doctor as well as in single and 15 doctor GPs over the last 10 years.
