Job description

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking patient vitals, collecting patient history, performing vision screenings, drawing vaccines for physicians, entering vitals in patient EMR, ensure that exam rooms and instruments are clean between patient visits, ordering, sorting and storing supplies, ensure exam rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies. Assist physicians with various duties as requested.

Hours are: Mondays 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesdays 1pm-close (approx 8pm), Wednesdays 1pm-close (approx 8pm) Thursday 1pm-close (approx 8pm) Saturdays (2-3 Saturdays a month 8:30am-1pm (approx). Possibility to pick up additional shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients are checked into office from their vehicle and are required to wear masks at all times. There are no patients waiting in waiting room area. Staff are required to wear masks and have been vaccinated. All exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
