Position Title: Mid-Level Web Analyst

Location: Washington DC / Telecommuting

Security Clearance: Background Investigation

We are looking to hire a talented Mid-Level Web Analyst with responsibilities to include collaborating with a team of developers, refining website specifications and resolving technical issues. Other duties including carrying out trend and data reporting, analyzing website visitor behavior and experiences, as well as exploring new opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience managing web pages and web content. Ultimately, you will ensure web pages are up and running and cover both internal and customer needs.

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan Process content publishing requests (CPRs) from customers requesting updates to website and coordinate translations of content into other languages with the Linguistic Services office.
• Assist with migrating content from the legacy intranet site to the IRS Source SharePoint site.
• Meet with clients or management to discuss the needs, design, and functionality of a website or interface
• Create and test applications, interfaces, and navigation menus for a website
• Write code for the website, using programming languages such as HTML or XML
• Work with other team members to determine what information the site will contain

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Management information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years in demonstrated administration experience
• 3+ years of Web Development
• Strong technical knowledge of data management systems, back-end development, front end design / implementation, UX/UI, database design, data quality, and data governance

Required Skills:

• Work experience as a Mid-Level Web Analyst
• Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably Javascript, VBScript, Ruby, C++ / C#, or PHP
• Solid knowledge of HTML, HTML5, and / or CSS
• SharePoint experience preferred
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance
• Understanding of IT security practices
• Familiarity with network diagnostics tools
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 40 lbs.
