MedArbor Diagnostics is seeking Molecular Lab Technicians

Starting Pay - Negotiable based on experience. Shift Differential available.

Tuesday - Saturday
4pm - 12:30am

Position Overview: The Molecular Laboratory Technician will perform specimen collection/processing and extractions for various lab tests. Follow MedArbor’s quality standards related to testing protocols and procedures. Maintain accurate documentation associated with lab tests performed.

Job Responsibilities: The Molecular Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing full-life cycle PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) based Infectious Disease Tests. This includes accessioning, extraction and the loading of patient samples as well as testing those patient samples.

· Proficiently perform all duties of a Specimen Processor.
· Run Infectious Disease tests on PCR instruments
· Maintain proper documentation of all laboratory equipment charts.
· Perform sample extraction proficiently

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s in physical science (chemistry, biology, molecular biology, etc)
· Required 1 year of experience in molecular testing required
· PCR experience preferred
· QuantStudio 5 QuantStudio 7 Kingfisher experience a plus
