CCHP is currently seeking a Playroom Supervisor to join our amazing team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Playroom Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the Playroom to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for all children.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan playroom activities (i.e.arts and crafts, games, bulletin board, etc).
  • Schedule playroom coverage and supervise all Play and Learn Coordinators.
  • Monitor, review and approve time sheets for Play and Learn Coordinators,
  • Ensure program facilities and equipment for children are safe, clean, adequately equipped, well maintained, and attractive
  • Document playroom usage numbers in electronic medical records
  • Coordinate with program managers on activities/games for children during patient engagement events Maintain and keep inventory of playroom equipment and supplies.
  • Order supplies in coordination with Administrative Assistant
  • Assist Chief Medical Officer in Reach Out and Read book purchasing, inventory and distribution Manage upkeep of children’s books and toys in patient waiting area
  • Report to ECDC director regularly on overall status of playroom operationsAttend case review, staff meetings and trainings as required.
  • Carry out other assignments as directed by ECDC director or executive staff or CEO.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' experience working with children, plus some administrative capacity or aptitude.

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
