Essential Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day and long-term operations and staff within a Yates Services area and Last mile supporting both NSRC and ILC operations. Responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate Tote Sorting to ensure Supplier replenishment for production parts back to the vehicle plants and replenishment of Top Hats to ILC operations. Management of Technicians and achieving successful customer-facing results by maintaining productive relationships with employees. This individual oversees and is directly involved in more than one of the following operations: Totes Sorting, customer service (Supplier Feedback), productivity, material handling, claims prevention (Orphan Totes), CMS, WMS, YMS, and safety.

Qualifications

· Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

· Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.

· Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

· Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established 5S policies and procedures.

· Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

· Relishes leading; takes unpopular stands if necessary; encourages direct and tough debate but isn’t afraid to end it and move on; is looked to for direction in a crisis; faces adversity head on; energized by tough challenges.

· Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

Education: High School Diploma or BS/AS Degree preferred

Physical Demands: Physical duties of job will require employee to stand, walk, and use hands to work with tools, controls, and equipment. Operation of MPE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
