Responsible for managing the technical aspects of a major program or all aspects of smaller technology or development programs.

Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating the customer’s technical requirements and the company’s approach to meeting those requirements.
  • Plan and develop engineering aspects of a major program or all aspects of smaller technology or development programs.
  • Lead the technical team in developing and providing solutions to complex problems requiring unique engineering methods & techniques.
  • Maintain liaison with individuals or groups within and outside organization and authorized to act independently on technical matters pertaining to the program.
  • Represents the company as the customer “technical” contact on contracts and/or projects.
  • Interact with customer personnel on significant technical matters which require coordination of activities across organizational lines.
  • Maintain a well-organized, neat, and safe work area. Immediately terminate any unsafe activities and advises the EH&S contact of the same.
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork and cooperation with team members at all levels in the organization to solve problems and improve processes.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Design to Cost (DTC). Understands test methods and instrumentation and can lead investigations and test analyses.
  • Strong leadership, independent thinking, organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced independent atmosphere.
  • Ability to lead technical teams in developing and providing solutions to complex problems requiring unique engineering methods and techniques.
  • As a senior technologist in the organization, must have the experience to serve as the organization’s technical expert in one or more key technologies or products.
  • Ability to translate general customer requirements into products, specific requirements, and program elements.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in the English language. Must be capable of writing and reviewing detailed procedures and work instructions; able to prepare and understand schedules and technical materials related to test lab operations; able to read engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office applications - Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel in an efficient and effective manner.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, or Chemical) and a minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience.

Per ITAR requirements, US Citizenship is required for employment. Individuals with dual citizenships will not be considered.


Pay Range (USD): $91,487.21 - $137,230.81 Benefits: Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k plan and are eligible for the Non-Contributory Retirement Contribution.
