Job Title: Production - Cryogenics Process Operator (Quality Assurance)
Location: Devens, MA

Job Description:
This position responsibility consists of performing operational and warehousing activities in the site Cryogenic facility. Activities include the freezing processing steps for Biologics and packaging- shipping of bulk drug substances by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and paper Batch Records. Scope of position requires some, but limited activities, in walk-in refrigerators and freezers (personnel protection provided). Upon completion of training, person will demonstrate a thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, and a working knowledge of the facility and equipment. An operator is expected to provide material movements, troubleshooting, and maintenance support activities during normal business hours. This position is M to F, first shift, as well as the occasional need to be called in during off hours. Operators Perform inventory control (SAP) transactions as required for material movement updates and ordering supplies through both manual and electronic systems. Operators are required to initiate ongoing communications using appropriate communication channels to organize information with clarity. A background in automated business and process control systems is helpful.

Education:

Bachelors degree with 2 years experience is preferred or Associate degree or high school diploma with 4+ years of experience.

Position Requirements:

Prior experience in a GMP environment with material handling, SAP, equipment operation and packaging shipments in a team environment is preferred. The ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation is required.

Salary: $30.00 - $32.62 per hour
