As the Quality Technician at Husqvarna Construction, you are responsible for quality control of all incoming material and outgoing product. This position is critical to ensure conformity with established practices and standards in production processes.

On any given day you will:

Incoming Material Quality

  • Evaluate incoming material according to incoming inspection plans.
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports to validate PPAP samples.
  • Participate in fault classification and problem-solving escalation.

Outgoing Product Quality

  • Evaluate customer returns to identify root cause of quality defects.
  • Produce checklists and procedures for end-of-line testing and run-in.
  • Participate in product audits as defined by quality management system.

Production Process Quality

  • Evaluate non-conforming material rejected off the line to determine disposition.
  • Develop standard work instructions including procedures for in-line inspections.
  • Support rapid response, problem solving, and continuous improvement team activities.
  • Participate in layered system and process audits as defined by quality management system.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you have:

  • Solid knowledge of measurement systems and tools
  • Knowledge of assembly procedures and tools
  • Knowledge of machine function and operation (engine, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical)
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly, mechanical, and electrical drawings
  • Associate degree (preferred)
  • Solid Knowledge Microsoft Suite
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a production environment
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a QC environment

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
