Ethos is a fast growing company in the most unique and interesting spaces of the insurance industry... investigations. We are expanding our Digital Fraud Investigations Team.

Position: Full Time Record Retrieval Specialist

This is not a fully remote position, only candidates in the Tampa Bay area will be considered as the position requires this role to be in the office 2 days per week and work from home 3 days per week.

Hourly rate: 14.00 per hour

The record retrieval specialist will be responsible for requesting and obtaining various records as needed by our clients. Examples of this could be crash reports, 911 audio, body cam footage, FOIA/open records requests, marriage/death certificates, etc. This individual will call on behalf of our clients and must conduct themselves in a professional manner. The goal of retrieving these records is to obtain information relevant to an open insurance claim/investigation. This individual will be responsible for obtaining records from various facilities across the country and familiarizing themselves with the retrieval process depending on the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make phone calls on behalf of our clients to various facilities to request record(s) of interest
• Obtain records from various facilities, i.e., police departments via mail or online databases
• Document all information gathered into detailed report and utilize our case management system
• Provide weekly updates to clients regarding progress of files
• Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION

High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

SKILLS

• Well organized
• Excellent time management
• Proficient with Microsoft Word
• Excellent phone and interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE

• No Experience Required; previous call center or medical (insurance) related experience preferred
