As a dedicated and experienced, Recruiter based in Tacoma, Washington you will work directly with hiring managers and supporting the site's recruitment needs. You will partner with the site leadership teams to deliver across the full recruitment life cycle from role advertisement to ensuring appropriate onboarding of a candidate into position for hourly employees.

You will have effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and hiring managers to effectively partner with them on filling their current and future, sometimes difficult to hire, hourly roles.

As a result-driven recruiter, you will partner with Senior Recruitment Specialist, Global Recruitment Lead and HR Business Partner to identify optimal recruitment strategies, including job boards, careers pages, passive talent databases, referral funnels and social networks to fill roles with quality talent in a timely manner.

With a focus on excellent candidate care and experience, you will design job ads, conduct a preliminary screening, attend interviews with hiring managers, be an advocate for candidates and their needs and complete all relevant checks within the recruitment guidelines.

You will have powerful influencing skills and negotiating to ensure that the candidates are satisfied with working at Bradken and the hiring manager's recruitment needs are fulfilled to a high standard. You will represent Bradken to win the best talent by attending hiring events, local and national career fairs, participating in community outreach, geographical canvassing and mapping strategies, and social media outreach via LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter and/or Monster.

Key Technical Criteria:
  • Demonstrated recruitment ability and experience. Preferably in manufacturing environment or similar
  • Proven ability to contribute to recruitment solutions with strong results in a manufacturing environment for entry level and highly technical roles
  • Solution oriented and analytically driven to achieve results
  • Branding experience to represent Bradken at hiring events, career fairs, local community outreach programs employment forums, networking events, or on social media such as Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with people from all backgrounds and experience levels from entry level to upper management.
  • Effectively report local market and industry trends, challenges, and highlights to site leadership team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively read others
This role will be based in Tacoma.
