Job description
Come make a difference in end-of-life care! This nurse owned hospice provides a culture of autonomy and philosophy that recognizes the individual needs of our patients and caregivers. Experience as an RN Case Manager, field nurse, community nurse, or as a Hospice RN is a plus.
FULL TIME/PART TIME/PRN POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Choose between
5 days a week 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday
or
3 days a week 12-hour shifts (must be able to work on Tuesdays)
or
4 days a week 10-hour shifts (must be able to work on Tuesdays)


Benefits:
  • Mileage reimbursed at 62.5 cents per mile
  • Excellent Medical (effective 1st month after 30 days
  • Dental-Vison-Life - effective on 31st day of employment
  • 80 hours vacation per year (prorated based on hire date)
  • 7 Paid Holidays per year effective upon hire
  • 1 Floating Holiday per year effective upon hire
  • 40 hours AZ Sick Time per year

Job Requirements
  • Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state.
  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing.
  • Maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience, at least one of which is in public health, home care, or hospice nursing is preferred.
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Management experience not required. Responsible for supervising hospice aides.
  • Demonstrates excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communications, nursing skills per competency checklist.
  • Shows ability to organize and prioritize workload independently.
  • Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position, and/or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and/or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
  • Bi-Lingual a plus - but not required
