We are looking to employ a qualified and professional staff nurse to provide primary healthcare within our organization. The staff nurse will be responsible for patient assessment, as well as planning of care and subsequent recovery. You should possess a nurturing and kind personality and display excellent communication skills with all role players.

Location: Westchester County, NY

Position: Registered Nurse

Specialty: Pain Management

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00/ hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Administering pain medication
• Helping physicians to develop a treatment plan
• Assisting physicians during the implementation of treatments
• Assessing and documenting patients' response to treatment
• Reviewing patients' medical histories
• Monitoring patients who have received conscious sedation pain medication
• Educate patients and their loved ones on available treatment options and the risks of each
• Demonstrating compassion for patients who are suffering from pain

Qualifications:

• A nursing degree.
• Post qualification nursing experience.
• Valid nursing board registration.
• Able to work in a multicultural team.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Continue professional development activities.
• Maintain meticulous records.
