Hot Licks is a Gourmet Fiery Food store located in San Diego's beautiful Seaport Village. Hot Licks is interviewing candidates for a parttime retail sales associate position. Do you enjoy interacting with people in a busy environment? Is there flexibility in your schedule? Are you a self-starter with current retail experience? Join our team of hot sauce aficionados!
Please apply by submitting your resume! Prior experience is preferred but not required. Compensation is contingent on experience and work history. Part time schedule is primarily on the weekend's day/evening and possible holidays.
Some of the responsibilities include effective sales techniques, good customer service and maintaining sufficient floor stock. A role model to staff by performing all store functions as necessary, demonstrating good work habits, encouraging clean and safe work habits and promoting positive attitudes toward customers.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, 18 years or older. Hot Licks carries extreme heat products and require a waiver on some products.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The location of Hot Licks is in Seaport Village, while performing the duties of this job you may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Store has a newer climate-controlled system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with background music.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen to customers and employees. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.30 - $18.00 per hour
