Position Title: SCA – Computer Systems Analyst - IT Specialist - RMF

Location: Dededo, Guam

Security Clearance: Secret

Rivet Operations Company has an opening for an IT Specialist in RMF to join our growing team in the Dededo, Guam area. Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) is a leader in physical and cyber security, scientific research, development, and facilities management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

• Works closely with system owners to guide them through RMF lifecycle of Operational Technology (OT) systems
• Contributes to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with DoD Risk Management Process (RMF) process and other DoD and DoN policies and procedures
• Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle
• Conduct RMF Validation and Risk Assessment (RA) activities for Operational Technology (OT) systems (Security Testing, System Risk, System Audits, Security Hardware and Software Testing, and support Checkpoints)
• Open-minded, leans forward and does not hesitate to reach out to others for help
• Passionate about technology and excited about learning new systems

Education / Experience / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with assessing and mitigating technical security and operational risks on systems and networks
• Minimum 2 years of experience with the development, review and approval of Navy RMF process
• Strong communication skills; motivated to investigate, analyze, and document system issues and resolutions; provides consistent status updates to ensure IT security projects stay focused
• Familiar with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirement Guides (SRGs)
• Familiar with implementing security controls and patching vulnerabilities on IT devices
• Experience with IA / INFOSEC concepts and requirements: Firewall Policy, Ports & Protocols, Cybersecurity, Cybersafe, and DoD A&A processes and standards
• Minimum Baseline Certification: CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent
• Experience with MS Project, Visio, DADMS
• Preferred IT Certification: Network+ and MS Project
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Position requires a Secret clearance

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
