Ensure School-based Health Center ( SBHC) operator within the guidelines set by Neighborcare management team and in accordance with laws and regulations. Support School-based Health Program and lead team and administrative support staff in developing, implementing and /or improving systems that affect and /or enhance clinic operations. Responsible for supporting the administrative support staff and the SBHC administrative functions and resources. Coordinate and oversee daily operations and schedules of administrative support staff.

In this position you will:

  • Supervise any Health Center Coordinator and Dental Assistant Supervisor staff working at assigned sites and programs. Managing any staff performance issues in a timely manner and ensuring completion of annual individual learning conversations. When appropriate, draft for Improvement Plans when needed and assure that they are reviewed and monitored. If warranted, in coordination with HR, implement disciplinary action, including termination of staff.
  • Travel to various assigned school-based sites as needed
  • Develop, implement and /or upgrade systems, policies and procedures that affect and/or enhance clinic and administrative support operations.
  • Provide first line support to staff at all assigned site locations and programs including the APRN/PA-C, dental, Mental Health Therapists providers as well as Health Center coordinators. Work in partnership with clinical leadership and other SBHC lead team members to support ongoing staff needs.
  • Work in partnership clinical leads to maintain scheduling for all site clinical and administrative staff, including all onsite schedules in the clinics and all coordinator of scheduling. Collaborate with HR on Orientation schedules.
  • Coordinator and support clinic outreach and patient engagement activities to ensure efficient patient access to services. Work with School-based Health Program lead team to develop and maintain systems ti ensure clinic productivity is met.
  • Lead, support, identify and participate in quality-of-care initiatives and process improvement activities as a member of the School-based Health Program lead team.
  • Engage in organizational planning and work with School-based Health Program lead team to plan for long term patient needs and resources. As an internal resource to team
  • Assist School-based Health Program Manager in strategic planning, budget projections, productivity analysis and other business-related initiatives.
  • Hire, train and orient administrative support staff on clinical operations and administrative systems and functions.
  • Conduct administrative orientation for all medical, mental health and dental staff at assigned sites and programs.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, public administration, business or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in practice management.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, public administration, business, or related field.
  • Clinical care experience within a community clinic setting

Compensation

The wage range for this position is minimum $36.59 up to $49.93 maximum.

Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
