Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading the insurance sales team by providing guidance, training, and mentorship, setting sales goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, and building the team to establish and maintain sustainable growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance of the sales and service teams by tracking goals, setting individual targets, facilitating ongoing training and supporting sales growth.
  • Develop business plans that cover sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
  • Coordinate with marketing on lead generation and best practices.
  • Develop sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our product.
  • Create and evaluate sales practices and processes for effectiveness.
  • Provide strategies for increasing sales, and feedback and developing marketing campaigns.
  • Act as an escalation point for any customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Prior experience in a sales management role, preferably in an insurance environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and compensation/commission plans.
  • Active Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities license required.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.

Physical Requirements:
