Job description
- Oversee the performance of the sales and service teams by tracking goals, setting individual targets, facilitating ongoing training and supporting sales growth.
- Develop business plans that cover sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation and best practices.
- Develop sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our product.
- Create and evaluate sales practices and processes for effectiveness.
- Provide strategies for increasing sales, and feedback and developing marketing campaigns.
- Act as an escalation point for any customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in a sales management role, preferably in an insurance environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and compensation/commission plans.
- Active Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities license required.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
