Summary
In this role, you will support the Commercial Operations Knowledge Management (KM) capability by assisting with practices, processes, standards, and tools to capture and share delivery-related knowledge to be used across our matrixed operating organization. You will support the knowledge management methodology to help promote and advance its success in becoming part of the DNA for Vizient services.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development, implementation and sustainment of KM strategies, governance, processes, and standards across various teams, workflows and tools.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to anticipate and prioritize knowledge needs, and work with all stakeholders to develop and capture materials within appropriate time frames.
  • Support knowledge management technology, including new knowledge creation, moderation support, categorization/taxonomy work to organize and share content, and user coaching and training.
  • Conduct interviews and distill lengthy content from sales and subject matter experts into succinct, strategic copy.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics and distill insights to inform change management, communications and training strategies.
  • Support creation and maintenance of playbooks, SharePoint sites, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training videos and other materials to capture, curate, organize and share knowledge.
  • Facilitate and participate in training and knowledge-sharing events to promote knowledge best practices.
  • Author internal communications to share evidence of knowledge management impacts and ensure resources and knowledge assets reach appropriate audiences.
  • Write, edit and proofread assets for brand, voice, style, audience and other business considerations.
  • Mentor knowledge managers while working on multiple simultaneous projects.

Qualifications
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience capturing, curating and organizing content in a knowledge management system preferred.
  • Functional and technical experience with knowledge management tools required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft platform (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and SharePoint preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand formats that drive comprehension.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, other internal stakeholders, and end users to meet knowledge needs.
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Possess excellent writing, editing and interviewing skills.
  • Understanding and application of AP Style preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management experience including developing and managing project timelines and meeting deliverables with superior attention to detail and minimal error.
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio and writing samples demonstrating past work.
  • Virtual position. Prefer candidates residing in the Nashville, TN area.
Estimated Hiring Range:
$77,400.00 - $115,050.00
