JOB SUMMARY
Developers who work at Consumer Direct Care Network gain direct exposure to the entire Microsoft stack; this includes cutting edge PaaS/Cloud technologies. Our relationships with key cloud vendors ensure that developers are exposed to industry best-practices, the latest development tools and ground-breaking new delivery mechanisms. Our team of excellent developers plays a major role in shaping and supporting Consumer Direct Care Network’s enterprise class internal business applications.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide Dev Ops release support, assist with automation and CI/CD.
  • Create and support reusable, extensible classes and libraries using modern design patterns in C#.
  • Author and deploy solutions for cloud infrastructure and software components on the Azure platform, including: o Functions Apps o Service Bus topology o SQL Server & HyperSQL o Cosmos noSQL o Kubernetes o App Services o Deployment Pipelines o Logic Apps o Data Factory
  • Design and develop restful APIs.
  • Design and develop back-end micro services.
  • Author and alter multiple database design models from UML to implementation and deployment.
  • Ensure cross-platform optimization, responsiveness and reliability of applications.
  • Own projects and solutions from conception to deployed product.
  • Meet both technical and consumer needs.
  • Stay abreast of developments in web, mobile, micro-service applications, programming languages and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer, Business Information System, Bootcamp Certificate, OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ experience in Software Development
  • Leadership experience preferred, but not required
  • Proficient with the concepts of object oriented languages (C#,C++,Java)
  • Proficiency in advanced OOP and solution design patterns: Mediator, Command, MVVM etc.
  • Experience with server side languages such as .NET (Framework/Core), Python, Ruby, node.js
  • Experience with database technology – MSSQL preferred and NoSQL such as Cosmos or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with source control such as GIT
  • Experience with an SDLC tool such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Experience with deployment pipelines (Azure, AWS CI/CD) a plus
  • Experience with serverless, cloud architecture a plus (Azure Function Apps, AWS Lambdas) a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements.
  • If remote, employee must provide their own reliable Internet connection with speeds efficient for the job duties and systems used

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 40 pounds. Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
