The Center for Family Support (CFS) mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and related disabilities. We are the first agency in New York to achieve the Council on Quality and Leadership Certification (CQL). We are seeking an energetic and organized person who will be responsible for monitoring billing and assisting the training department. The person would report to the Coordinator of Data Analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience in using Therap and Medicaid Billing. The position will reside in the NY office.

Job Summary

Responsible for the billing process for CFS government contracts and Medicaid.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

· Manage line-item contracts and Medicaid billings for New York and New Jersey.

· Process and answer all inquiries on SSI, SSA and SSP

· Bill Self Directed Services

· Prepare billings to funders, including accounting, documentation, submission, and follow –up.

· Assist in the preparation of Continuing Funding Application and all Budget Modifications for line-item contracts

· Reconcile billings to general ledger accounts.

· Contact funding agencies on all open invoices, pending budgets and matter of fiscal importance.

· Follow-up on billing denials

· Analyze billing data for data trends.

· Follow up, process and re-submit denied Medicaid claims.

· Identifying and implement process improvements where possible.

· Work with program managers and funders on billing related issues.

· Other tasks that maybe assigned by management.

Engage with finance, program staff, external funders and auditors to establish a professional relationship.

Salary Range

$65-70K

We are looking for someone who brings

· Two years of experience

· Strong communication and organization skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Strong computer skills including working with Excel and FundEZ Accounting System.

· BA in Accounting or related field.
