• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships within and between all departments, including Residential, Education, Admissions, and Training. Promotes and focuses on the intersection of therapeutic services with daily operations in the school and residential setting, including carry over of social behavioral, speech/language, and sensory regulation supports. Adapts therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of the students and staff of the Company.

• Participation, as assigned, on applicable Company committees. Acts as a representative of Therapeutic Services and is a liaison between Therapeutic Services and other committee members to promote intercompany collaboration and problem solving.

• Active involvement in the Admission Process through referral review and assistance with therapeutic transition planning/support.

• Researches evidence supported/informed therapeutic modalities, as applicable to students, family members, and GLS staff for the purpose of continued advancement of our models and best practice.

• Provides consultation/additional support, as needed to Therapists and/or Behavior Support Specialists. Applies knowledge, expertise, and experiences in the development of these staff and makes recommendations to improve outcomes to meet the individual needs of each student.

• Develops and reviews internal Therapeutic Services systems, including Therapy Assessments, Therapy Plans, and Therapy Notes.

• Develops training standards, creates training resources, and leads classroom/group/team trainings on therapeutic interventions, environments, specific needs of students. Serves as a liaison between the Training Department and Therapeutic Services. Regularly provides classroom training to staff at orientation and as needed.

• Maintains department expertise and ensures compliance with program accreditation standards (COA), local, state and federal licensing and regulatory requirements, and community standards governing treatment services.

• Collaborates, as needed and as directed, with other identified GLS and/or MyPath employees on therapeutic resources and identifies service delivery/support gaps.

• Provides therapeutic support for students in the Sage Program, as applicable, including creation and implementation of a Therapy Plan and participation on the service delivery team.

• Participates in an after-hours on call system rotation for critical issues.

• Attends workshops, seminars, in-services, etc. which are related to therapeutic services, business operations; participates as appropriate in various professional groups. Shares new information with department, leaders and employees.

• Completes tasks as delegated by the Executive Director, as appropriate to the position

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or other related discipline required.

• Licensure by the state of Wisconsin required.

• A minimum of 5 years post licensing clinical work preferred.

• Ability to provide supervision hours preferred.

• Trauma treatment training and experience preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.04 per hour
