Our Survivor Benefits Training and Development team is currently seeking a Staff Services Manager I to lead a team of program trainers to train new and seasoned team members, develop policy guidelines and procedural changes, and drive our CalPERS mission.

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System is recruiting to fill a Staff Services Manager I vacancy in the Disability and Survivor Benefits Services Division (DSBD), Survivor Benefits Training team. Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II in the Survivor Benefits Special Programs and Operational Support, the SSM I is responsible for the overall training program, setting workload priorities, developing policy guidelines and procedural changes.

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $6,563.00 - $8,153.00 per month
