Purpose of Warehouse Associate:

The warehouse worker will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.

*PLEASE NOTE*: We will ask the selected candidate to work in our warehouse for three weeks in a contract position before hiring that person full-time. We will see use that time to see if you are comfortable learning the products and processes in our warehouse. Just as importantly, we hope you would use that time to see if you will be a good fit and if you are determined to grow with us.

Job Duties:

• Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
• Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order
• Receive shipments, log into inventory, and maintain inventory through audits. Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.
• Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
• Assist in keeping facility clean, secure, and safe
• Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
• Basic computer/keyboarding skills
• Stand/walk for duration of work hours
• Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 60 lbs frequently, but may be more on occasion)
• Recognizes and understands product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
• Understands basic inventory,
• Able to work independently with some direction
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Team player
• Present a neat and professional image
• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical ability

Education/Experience:

• Education: High school diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: Minimum year in similar position preferred
• Pass a drug screen and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
