As a
Warehouse Generalist, you will perform day-to-day operations in the warehouse and are responsible for distribution of all aspects of materials within the shop for repairs and servicing of our industrial products (receiving, finishing, packing, etc.). Responsibilities:
- Make local deliveries of repairs in a company truck and may also deliver and pickup parts needed for repair in company truck.
- Load and unload delivery trucks – requiring physical moving and lifting of product weighing as much as 50 pounds.
- Perform check-in of repairs (receiving) and record identification tags on incoming items with written documentation and photo records.
- Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
- Paint finished repair jobs and prepare finished repairs for shipping, including operating the stretch wrap banders.
- Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial / housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building, keeping floors clear of debris, emptying dumpsters, and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse.
- May assist technicians with repairs as needed. Perform administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, and at least 6 months prior work experience, preferably in general labor, construction, or manufacturing. Forklift experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stand and sit for long periods of time.
- A current unrestricted Valid Driver’s License.
