We're looking for an organized and driven Accountant to join our growing team at our company. The Accountant position will work closely with our current accountant and other operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping. We're an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day finances.
Accountant Responsibilities & Duties
- Reconcile related accounts and prepare monthly journal entries
- Monthly general ledger analysis and detailed variance reporting
- Document, organize, and report project status of corporate initiatives
- Responsible for all general ledger work including journal entries, month end closing and financial statement preparation.
- Review bi-weekly/semi-monthly adjustments, and journal entries
- Review and reconcile bank statements monthly.
- Prepare and post adjusting journal entries monthly.
- Accounts Payable.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Developed customized reports in Excel for tracking various financial activities.
- Reorganize and update financial records in Quickbooks for all companies
- Analyze and reconcile various general ledger accounts preparing monthly journal entries and adjustments
- Prepare monthly, annual and quarterly Balance Sheet and Income Statement budgets
- Communicating with vendors with various issues.
- Property Management
- Project Management
Accountant Requirements
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Accounting degree
- Expertise with QuickBooks
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office(EXCEL), accounting software and databases
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- Additional experience in Audit and International accounting
