Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies in on-premises and cloud environment.
• Installing and maintaining the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security as well as setting and maintaining database standards.
• Manage database accesses to include performance tuning of database systems.
• Responsible for installing, upgrading and managing database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations and dashboards.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks and be available for on-call support as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Completed Bachelor's degree, fifteen (15) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+); or
• Completed Bachelor's degree, thirteen (13) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP); or
• Completed Master's degree, thirteen (13) years of professional experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+); or
• Completed Master's degree, eleven (11) years of professional experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP)

Preferences:

• Knowledge base of Oracle, PostgresSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire.
