Job description
The position of delivery and packing of deliveries includes the following:
Packing and labelling of meat and cheese products into their air-tight cases.
Labelling and packing products into boxes for their delivery orders.
Loading and unloading delivery boxes into the delivery van.
The job requires the ability to follow an order list, identify products, and maintain correct record of orders and products to be delivered to their appropriate grocery stores.
The general schedule for this job will look like 3 days of packing, 2 days of delivery.
The ideal candidate is able to drive for several hours to make deliveries to the Chicagoland area, be able to load and unload boxes of delivery goods which weigh between 20-60lb each, drive carefully and safely, and manage the list of goods and items to be delivered. Basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is utilized.
