Job description
The main purpose of this position is to develop, direct and lead teams of professionals in the development of our Intermodal network, management of assets and integration with the Commercial and Operating groups for the safe, efficient, and effective implementation of our Intermodal product to meet customer needs balanced with business unit goals. This position works closely with the Commercial Director and Operations Director of Intermodal to deliver a best-in-class Intermodal product to the market. This position must balance the needs of the customers and markets with the limitations from maximizing asset utilization and load – load density for container and dray networks. This must be done while achieving the key performance objectives for the business including safety, customer satisfaction, revenue and margin while minimizing failure costs.
