Primary Responsibilities:
Measure and analyze software designs, implement procedures to support hardware and software product development, and operate equipment.
Conduct tests and perform debugs of control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Conduct disciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems and commercial software.
Measure and analyze software designs for equipment/products to ensure current and future needs of the business are met.
Build and implement procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and functions.
Operate equipment and computer systems for testing and software design purposes to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives are achieved.
Required Qualifications:
At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience with the C programming language
Demonstrable experience with avionics project(s) that utilize DO-178 certification
Demonstrable experience with the software life cycle, including development and verification phases
Demonstrable experience with structural coverage analysis (SCA)
