Assist in community events, resource fairs and workshops hosted by Arizona PBS. Provide assistance to children in completing arts and craft projects and early learning activities. Always create and maintain a safe work environment/area.

No prior experience required; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

• Demonstrated knowledge of event, early learning and craft planning.
• Evidence of effective communication skills, working with children
• Ability to lift and move objects of at least 25 lbs.

This is an on-call position that will provide assistance in various parts of the state. The Work locations will include various community venues, inside and outside, dependent on the needs of the area and event partners.

Eight specializes in the education of children, in-depth news and public affairs, lifelong learning, and the celebration of arts and culture — utilizing the power of noncommercial television, the Internet, educational outreach services, and community-based initiatives. The PBS station began broadcasting from the campus of Arizona State University on January 30, 1961.
