About This Role

PrizePicks is looking for a Licensing Administrator to help ensure the Company’s licenses and business registrations are properly filed, renewed, and in good standing with appropriate regulatory authorities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Administer the Licensing Compliance Program to ensure that all licensing regulatory requirements, licensing legal obligations and Company licensing policies and practices are adhered to.
  • Development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the Licensing Compliance Program. Evaluates licensing compliance activities to ensure licensing compliance standards are maintained and communicated as necessary. Identifies compliance shortfalls, recommends and implements corrective action as appropriate.
  • Develops mastery of licensing software (OneComply) and regularly use OneComply to streamline license applications.
  • Perform vendor due diligence reviews through use of third party public and private databases such as LexisNexis and Clear and draft corresponding suitability reports.
  • Ensures the Licensing Compliance Program and associated requirements are communicated throughout the organization on a regular basis. Collaborates with other departments to support licensing compliance efforts.
  • Submits licensing reports and communicates licensing matters to management on a regular basis.
  • Builds a strong working relationship with all applicable regulatory agencies and serve as a primary contact on licensing compliance related issues.
  • Assists Paralegal in administering contract database and political contributions compliance program.
  • Maintain confidential company and personal data.
  • Support and maintain the license management system to include relevant document management.
  • Other job-related duties as requested.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience as a paralegal or administrator is preferred.
  • Prior corporate/entity licensing experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to be resourceful and self-sufficient is important.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage start-up environment is critical.

This position reports to the VP of Compliance.
