PART-TIME EMDR CERTIFIED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Refresh Psychotherapy LCSW, PLLC is hiring part-time NYS Credentialed Mental Health Therapists who are EMDR certified. We are hiring LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, and LMFT who do not work at or own private practices in New York State.

The EMDR Certified Therapist will work telehealth schedules between the hours of 7 am-10 pm; a minimum of two nights a week are required. We want our part-time certified EMDR mental health therapists to be curious, passionate, and fully engaged, diverse clinicians who understand the duality of growth happening intentionally and organically, regardless of how many years of experience you have in our field.

Our clientele are Bi/Multilingual LGBTQ+, BIPOC, Boomers, Generation X’ers & Millennials who successfully navigated the quarter-life crisis. Our clients are redefining their post-30 lives through a committed reexamination of trauma.

Licensed certified EMDR clinicians who join our community can complete a minimum of 15 weekly sessions or a maximum of 25 weekly sessions. Refresh pays NYS-licensed EMDR therapists $60 per intake and $50 per session. Weekly individual and group supervision are required and paid at the session rate.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time EMDR Certified Clinician:

* Complete a minimum of 15 sessions or a maximum of 25 sessions per week; work two nights a week Monday thru Thursday.

*Extensive knowledge of CPT codes

*Write and save all session notes for the day in EHR concurrently; sessions will range from 53 to 60 minute * Develop and implements treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge

* Collects information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests.

* Evaluates clients' physical or mental conditions based on the review of client information

* Participate weekly in mandatory 1:1 supervision and group supervision.

* Actively participate in Refresh Psychotherapy’s social media outlets via posts, stories, and reels.

Qualifications / Requirements of the EMDR Certified Mental Health Therapist:

* Must be Credentialed in NYS with the following licenses LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT

* Must have extensive diagnostic knowledge of the DSM5

* Must have mental health experience providing long-term psychotherapy to professionals who identify as part of the LGBTQ+, and BIPOC communities.

* Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs, and methodology

* Knowledge and regular use of evidence-based practices

* Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques

* Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures

* Interviewing and psychological/diagnostic evaluation skills

* Knowledge of psychological test administration, scoring, and interpretation

* Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients' rights

* A strong technological ability regarding telehealth

* Certificate of Professional Liability Insurance needed before hire

* License in New York State in good standing

Additional Requirements:

* Proof of both COVID vaccines and booster, vaccination for MMR, as well as receipt of this year's flu shot

* Must know Psychoanalytic Psychodynamic and evidence-based practices, using an eclectic approach tailored to each client.

* Must own computer equipment that is not shared with others.

* Reliable internet connection with locked Wi-Fi and VPN

* Must wear business attire during sessions and company events

* Must have a private business-appropriate location to conduct telehealth sessions.

This clinical position is not suited for those with experience that lies solely working with children, adolescents, or families using case management, FFT, or short-term therapy solutions.

Private practice owners and psychotherapists currently working at a private practice they would like to stay at are discouraged from applying to this position.

This is a clinical position that is not suited for those whose expertise lies solely in case management(making referrals, working with clients utilizing cbt to obtain basic tenants of life such as housing, food, or shelter)
