Job Summary:

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for entering orders/data, managing customer service issues, and supporting cataloger sales. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

This role will oversee receiving and processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while ensuring teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Enter orders received from customers via email.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Work with internal departments to complete orders.
  • Inventory Purchasing
  • Following up with inventory and orders for Customer Service Team.
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing, and availability.
  • Data entry in various platforms via the SAP HANA system.

Required Competencies:

  • Proficient with computers, video meetings/messaging applications (Skype, Ring central, Microsoft teams, and/or zoom), computer programs, and Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. (Required)
  • Competency in using reporting systems.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Extremely detailed-oriented and problem solver
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced computer, information, and emotional literacy.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions.
  • Ability to interact appropriately with various individuals, including customers/clients.
  • Ability to deal with people under adverse circumstances.

Job Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English written/spoken (Required)
  • Experience in office administration/data entry: minimum 1-2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office (Preferred)
  • Knowledge about SAP system (Preferred)
  • Need a reliable mode of transportation (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US (Required)
  • Minimum high school diploma (Required)


Working hours
: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday, full-time, Hybrid Schedule
