The Patient Recruitment Specialist works under the direction of the Recruitment Manager, company administration and the principal investigator to perform assigned and delegated duties associated with the execution of clinical research trial protocols. The recruiter will have, or will develop, skills in recruiting patients into clinical research trials, phone etiquette, multi-tasking with the various assigned duties.

The recruiter shall have the highest moral and ethical standards and will be expected to conduct themselves in a responsible, professional, moral, and ethical manner at all times. The recruiter shall have excellent interpersonal communication skills and have a strong commitment to the success of the research team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Patient Recruitment Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Inform and recruit patients into clinical research trials
  • executing outbound and inbound calling
  • Learning and being proficient in company's programs and databases
  • Read, comprehend, and execute clinical trial protocols
  • Comply with all international, federal, state, local, and company guidance, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as applicable to clinical research trials and Advanced Research Institute.
  • Interact with patients (via phone and face-to-face) by recruiting them for trials, explaining trial protocols, collecting data, etc.
  • Protect health information for every patient to the best of your ability
  • Maintain every patient's rights to privacy
  • Maintain flexibility by performing all other assigned duties

Qualifications and Skills Training: On the job training provided.

Experience Requirements: Experience preferred but not required (Healthcare Industry, Medical Terminology, Customer Service)

Education Requirements: High school diploma required.

Skills: Goal oriented focus, Time management skills, clear communication skills, Attentiveness, Phone etiquette, Persuasion Skills, determination, proficient in Office word and excel, etc.
