E&E Foods is launching a search for a Personnel & Payroll Coordinator at their office in Kenai, AK. This job requires a payroll professional who has excellent attention to detail, strong understanding of confidentiality and privacy and has excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills. In addition, they will possess expertise in and working knowledge of Federal and State labor laws and standards pertaining to payroll practices. They will have strong computer and payroll software skills. They will be a creative problem solver and able to work effectively despite persistent interruptions and changing priorities. Finally, they will be a team player with the ability to handle deadline driven environments.

The successful candidate will:

· Manage and coordinate E&E Foods payroll for the Kenai Alaska Operations including garnishments, voluntary deductions, benefits and taxes for 300+ employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.

· Provide leadership and direction and ensure that staff provide information efficiently, accurately and in compliance with designated policies and procedures.

· Collaborate with corporate HR & Recruiting and assist with digital onboarding, hiring, transfer, orientation and separation of employees.

· Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed.

· Resolve issues and answer employee payroll-related questions and requests.

· Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of payroll information.

· Respond to requests from state and federal agencies.

· Possess knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounts

· Possess the ability to prioritize varying projects and deadlines while being very well organized.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• 5/+ years relevant work experience
• Payroll experience a must
• Automated accounting software knowledge,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook

Salary & Benefits:

· The starting wage is $27.00 to $33.00 per hour.

Work Environment:

· E&E Foods offers a business casual work environment.

· Work is typically performed in an office setting, and onsite/in-person.

· The ability to sit at a desk/computer station, bend, stoop, walk and generally move around the office to consult with others, work within a busy environment and remain focused on tasks.

· Document management requires some lifting and moving of objects up to 25lbs.

· Excellent communication skills are essential.
