PROJECT MANAGER 1, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) (2 openings), to provide support on multiple concurrent projects that encompass the entirety of the IS&T portfolio. Will work closely with functional and technical teams to design, facilitate, and implement solutions to support MIT’s ongoing work as it aligns with its mission. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, facilitating, and implementing projects; serving as a bridge between IS&T leadership, business stakeholders, and/or the project team(s); updating stakeholders about project strategy, adjustments, and progress on a regular basis; working with resource managers to effectively align resources across projects; preparing and presenting regularly scheduled status reports; coaching/mentoring less experienced staff; and performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; one year of relevant experience in business administration, project management, or related field; understanding of and appreciation for how technology solutions can be leveraged to solve current business needs; self-motivation and ability to work independently; communication and presentation skills for effectively communicating with technical and non-technical audiences; and the ability to apply values, business strategy, policies, procedures, and precedent to make timely decisions with limited consequences. Starting salary range: $75,000 - 95,000
