POSITION SUMMARY
The React Native Developer for Optima Tax Relief, LLC (Optima) is located in the Santa Ana, California office and performs under the general supervision of the Senior Director, Software Development. This role codes from design to development and works closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across departments. The React Native Developer should have experience with assessing different parts of the React framework as well as the connection between them for security and performance. This position works on products that will be used directly by our customers and stakeholders with meaningful impact to their functions and interactions. This role must also champion Optimas culture and Core Values

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Transition between React web app to React Native projects.
Leverage native APIs for deep integration with both iOS and Android.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the application is of the highest quality.
Stay up-to-date with the best React.js and React Native practices.
Collaboration with different developers and testers.
Release and deploy code to the app stores.
Other duties as assigned.
In order to be provided the essential training required to be successful in this role, it is mandatory that you are present for and complete all essential/initial training onsite for up to 5 business days (unless prior management approval is provided). Please note that additional onsite training may be required depending on business need.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of non-internship professional React development experience required.
2+ years of experience working with microservices architecture is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES
Knowledge of modern JavaScript & object-oriented programming.
Knowledge and experience working with GraphQL or REST API.
Knowledge and experience working with third-party libraries.
Knowledge and experience with agile, scrum development approaches, and automated testing suites.
Experienced with implementing features like notification, messaging, analytics in application.
Firm grasp of TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+syntax.
Familiarity with building & deployment process.
Knowledge and experience with Git.
Excellent organizational, time-management, written, and communication skills.
History of successfully achieving goals in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Meticulous attention to detail and high sense of accountability.
Working prototypes or portfolio of different React projects.
Proficient knowledge of AWS AppSync, Lambda, and S3 is a plus.
