About this Position:

This position will manage the Software (SW) development schedule of infotainment software with a focus on head unit software, creating a top-class infotainment platform that applies to numerous future influential models simultaneously. This includes overseeing and coordinating the people, resources and processes required to deliver new software or upgrade existing products.


Responsibilities include:

  • Review and maintain all the relevant SW schedules towards achieving the master application schedule. This includes SW Supplier Schedules, Validation Schedules, Release Plans, etc. Trouble shoot any concerns and alert Project Management of any problems.
  • Drive Sprint input meeting, participate in Sprint planning meeting, and drive Sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Write clear and concise reports, presentations and schedules to make a record of the development activities, communicating directly with experts.
  • Define & update software processes, templates, guidelines & checklists.
  • Collect open-source software disclosure related inputs from Honda vendors for all vehicle variants and store the details in applicable Honda document repository.
  • Effectively communicate the development schedule and report status of component functions to different company areas/departments.
  • Recognize and specify critical function requirements (hardware, software & communication) for infotainment system components.

Who we are seeking:


Required Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of related experience is desired. It may also be used to substitute for required degree

Required Education:

  • 4-yr degree of in Engineering, IT, or other relevant degree.

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Sprint Management
  • Agile Management
