Job Title: Tableau Developer

Location: Alpharetta, GA ( Day 1 onsite, weekly 3 days)

Duration: FTE / Contract

Note: Need Only local candidates in GA

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights and business intelligence to our stakeholders. You will work closely with our business and data teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices for data visualization and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide business insights and intelligence

Collaborate with business and data teams to identify requirements and translate them into actionable insights and visualizations

Develop complex calculations and data transformations to support data analysis and visualization

Maintain and optimize existing Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring they are performant, reliable, and scalable

Ensure that Tableau best practices are followed, including data governance, security, and accessibility

Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and functionalities, and recommend and implement enhancements to our Tableau environment

Participate in data architecture and design discussions to ensure the data is properly structured to support the Tableau reporting needs

Train and mentor other team members on Tableau development best practices and techniques

Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience in Tableau development, including experience designing and developing complex dashboards and reports
• Strong experience in data analysis and visualization, with an emphasis on building compelling visualizations that drive business insights
• Experience with Tableau Server administration, including user management, security, and performance tuning
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau calculations, data blending, and data modeling
• Experience with SQL, ETL, and data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across the organization
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
