(CVGI) is a diversified industrial company that provides seating systems, electromechanical assemblies, wire harnesses, plastic parts, engineered structures, panel assemblies, and warehouse automation subsystems for many markets including ecommerce, e-tailing, trucking, last-mile delivery, electric vehicles, military equipment, warehouse equipment, buses, construction equipment, agricultural vehicles, specialty transportation vehicles, mining, industrial equipment and off-road recreational markets.

Summary/Objective
The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides ongoing support for talent acquisition activities and assists in ensuring CVG achieves all Talent Excellence objectives and goals through sourcing, recruiting, and hiring/onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully partner with the Talent Director, CVG's leadership team(s), and the HR Team to deliver recruitment activities that support the organization
  • Facilitate the Talent Acquisition process—including definition of appropriate job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
  • Provide exceptional candidate experience and assist with projects related to improving employer/talent brand
  • Support development and administration of CVG and HR policies related to Talent Acquisition
  • Promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace through recruiting strategies focused on attracting a diverse pool of candidates
  • Build effective working and communication relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, dedicated to delivering exemplary internal customer service to all functional areas
  • Support development, implementation, and administration of CVG's applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensuring appropriate recruitment metrics/analytics are easily accessible
  • Assist in facilitating CVG Internship Program and coordination of campus recruiting efforts
  • Effectively utilize supplemental sourcing/recruitment resources (job boards, social media outlets, third-party recruiting relationships, etc)
Requirements:

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

  • 2+ years industry/functional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, employer branding techniques, job boards, and social media
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Professional communication skills and demonstrated experience in maintaining confidentiality
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment law

Preferred Education, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources of business-related program
  • 5+ years professional recruiting experience
  • Experience with implementation and/or optimization of HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
  • Automotive / manufacturing experience
  • HR Certification

Travel
Occasional overnight travel may be required to support the talent acquisition initiatives at all Company locations.
