The UCPath Center is the University of California's shared services center in Riverside, CA. The UCPath Center manages the payroll, benefits, and other human resources transactions for more than 200,000 UC employees working across ten UC campuses, five medical centers, three national labs and more. POSITION SUMMARY

The Content Developer and Trainer is responsible for the development and delivery of a blended training program on various subjects including using supported software and professional development

Responsibilities

30%

Deliver tailored training for each audience group through facilitated instructor-led sessions, web-based sessions or other delivery methods.

30%

Develop course content such as reference guides, job aids, instructor led training and PowerPoints.

20%

Research, review and validate content with appropriate subject matter experts and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and managing iterations, as required.

10%

Other duties as assigned.

Work with functional and technical subject matter experts to translate knowledge and processes into course content.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and 4 years experience.
• Some experience designing, developing, and maintaining end user training.
• Demonstrated successful delivery of instructor-led training and group facilitation.
• Customer-service focus with demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate at all levels of the organization.
• Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced work environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in ambiguous situations
• Strong analytical, quantitative and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using training content development software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate or similar software.
• Experience in instructional design and development using Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK).
• Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, such as Salesforce.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent in education and 4 years experience.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary: The recommended salary range is $79,000 - $87,000. Commensurate with experience.
